Description
Lee Marek was awarded the Helen Free Award for Outreach by the American Chemical Society in 2003. His skills presenting chemical demonstrations and communicating chemistry to the public resulted in him being invited on the “David Letterman Show” more than 30 times. He became a mentor to middle and high school students through demonstrations and chaperoned dozens of them for appearances on Letterman.
He will share stories of his adventures with these students. His talk will include a few demos and some clips of the children on Letterman.
