The Reversal Theory Archive is an open-access repository for materials related to the science and practice of the theory.
Reversal theory
is a theory of motivation, personality, and emotion that is both structural and phenomenological. The theory focuses on the dynamic, changeable qualities of normal human experience and describes how individuals regularly reverse between psychological states that reflect their motivational style, the meaning they attach to a situation at a given time, and the emotions they experience. A bibliography of reversal theory works is available here. The website of the Reversal Theory Society is reversaltheory.net.All are welcome to submit reversal theory-related content to this archive. Content may include traditional academic works such as research articles, books, book chapters, presentations, video and/or audio recordings, photographs, conference programs, manuscripts, and newsletters. Practitioners are encouraged to submit instructional materials including agendas, handouts, and exercises from workshops and professional development events.
If you have questions or would like more information about submitting content, please contact Dr. Mitzi Apter-Desselles (mdessell@latech.edu).
