Description
Sidney Seth Tatum (1809-1898) was a landholder and farmer in Claiborne and Lincoln Parishes, Louisiana, during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries; taught a private school in Hico, Louisiana; also was a merchant, helped establish the Dubach State Bank, and was active in the Farmers' Union movement in Lincoln Parish. Includes assorted papers of other Tatum family members.
