Description
Confederate Army soldier and businessman from New Orleans. Most of his military service was spent in St. Tammany and Tangipahoa Parishes and later in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where he spent several months ill in a hospital. He rejoined his unit, was captured near Jackson, Mississippi, in July 1863, and was released May 18, 1865.
